Hvar…what to write about Hvar that has not been written already?! Hvar is perhaps the Croatian hotspot number one. It is picturesque medieval city that breaths in a modern way. There, you can see “ordinary” tourists just walking around with tour guides or exploring the city’s rich cultural and historical heritage on their own. On the other side, you will also be able to see the celebrities form all over the world enjoying glass of champagne onboard their super yachts.
When in Hvar, make sure you listen to your skipper’s advice as he will surly instruct you to visit a cathedral and medieval fortress located on top of the hill above the town. When you are done with sightseeing and free time, head for Paklinski islands or Pakleni Islands. It is a group of islands south of Hvar town, very popular among tourists and yachtsmen. There are plenty of coves and bays and among them most popular is definitely Vinogradišće bay or South Palmižana bay. Palmižana is true piece of heaven on Earth, with its rich vegetations, crystal clear sea and amazing restaurants like Meneghello and Toto’s.
If you are not that much into food, we suggest you visit epic Laganini beach bar in Vinogradišće.
